Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information PackFloor collects, why we use it, and the choices available to website visitors, customers, and authorized users.
Last updated October 2, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the PackFloor website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It covers visitors, prospective customers, customer account owners, and authorized team members. PackFloor is a business-to-business service.
When a customer uploads information about its employees, customers, orders, products, or shipments, that customer controls the information and PackFloor processes it to provide the Service. Customers are responsible for providing any notices and permissions required for the data they submit.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and contact information, including name, email address, company name, and role.
- Workspace content, including orders, customer records, inventory, products, labels, documents, notes, and uploaded images.
- Support, sales, and other communications you send to us.
- Subscription and transaction details. Payment card information is collected and processed by Stripe rather than stored directly by PackFloor.
Information collected automatically
- Device, browser, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, and interactions with the website.
- Authentication, security, audit, diagnostic, and usage information needed to operate and protect the Service.
- Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
Connected services
If you connect Shopify or another supported service, we receive the information needed to authenticate the connection and provide the features you request, such as importing orders. The information available depends on the permissions you approve with that provider.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve PackFloor.
- Create and administer accounts, workspaces, subscriptions, and customer support.
- Process orders, documents, integrations, and other instructions submitted by authorized users.
- Monitor performance, diagnose errors, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- Understand website usage and measure marketing effectiveness when analytics consent is provided.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of PackFloor, our customers, and others.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use customer workspace content to serve targeted advertising.
4. Google Analytics
With your permission, PackFloor uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our public website. Google Analytics may collect information such as page URLs, device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP address, and site interactions. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers when analytics storage is accepted.
Learn how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services. You can decline analytics through our cookie controls, use browser controls, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. How we share information
We share information only as reasonably necessary with:
- Service providers that support hosting, databases, storage, authentication, analytics, communications, payments, and security, including Vercel, Supabase, Google Analytics, and Stripe.
- Connected services, such as Shopify, when an authorized customer enables the connection.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the Service.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
We do not allow service providers to use customer workspace content for their own independent marketing.
6. Data retention and security
We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and protect the Service. Retention periods vary by data type and context. Customers should export needed records before closing an account.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and customers are responsible for protecting passwords, limiting user access, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized activity.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning personal information. You may also withdraw analytics consent through Cookie settings. We may need to verify your identity and may direct workspace-data requests to the customer organization that controls the account.
To submit a privacy request, email colin@packfloor.app. You may unsubscribe from non-transactional emails using the instructions in the message.
8. International use and children
PackFloor and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as PackFloor changes. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Questions may be sent to colin@packfloor.app.
